Enjoy some peace and quiet amongst our 35 acres. Rome Riverside features a beautiful campsite right on the Bark River. Located three miles west of Sullivan, WI, in Rome, Wisconsin, in Jefferson County. We are 40 minutes away from both Milwaukee and Madison.


We offer seasonal, monthly, weekly, and nightly camping, as well as a large tent camping area.

Rome Riverside Campground is located near the Kettle Moraine Trail. It's 20 minutes from different directions to different kinds of shops and restaurants, providing the best camping experience in Wisconsin. Plus, the Alpine Valley Concerts are also very close and we even have a shuttle to and from the venue!

ALPINE VALLEY MUSIC THEATRE

Alpine Valley Music Theatre is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2027, and both Dave Matthews Band, Phish, and other big-name bands will be performing. Rome Riverside Campground will be offering camping and shuttle service to and from Alpine Valley.

    You will not find a better staff at any campground anywhere. Great place to stay for an event. Workers will golf cart you firewood and help you with anything you need. Campsites are nice and the whole feel is extremely laid back. Great experience!

    First time to Alpine and our group stayed at Rome Riverside. We had plenty of shade. Clean showers and port o johns. The shuttle to the show was super convenient. You are able to take your gear and tailgate and the driver stays with your gear while you're in the show. Linda Rocks! We will be back for sure !

    Such a great campground! We stayed the entire 2018 season and we couldn’t be any happier! The manager Linda and her husband Ron are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Always willing to help or answer questions you may have. They are very fair but make sure the rules are being followed. There are so many other campgrounds that are run all hap hazard and quite frankly are a mess. They take pride and it really shows. The bathrooms are clean and the roads and grounds are well maintained.
